Trading leveraged products carries significant risk and can lead to losses greater than you expect.

About us

The broker behind your positions

Orion Capital gives retail and professional traders direct access to global markets — 1,000+ tradable instruments, platforms that hold up when the market moves, and a desk that answers.

Who we are

Orion Capital is a multi-asset brokerage. Our clients trade foreign exchange, commodities, equity indices, individual shares and cryptocurrency CFDs from a single funded account, on whichever platform suits the way they actually work rather than the one we happen to prefer.

The business was built from the trading desk backwards. Before any of this was marketed, we settled on four things a client should be able to do without asking permission: see the price they are getting, move money in and out on their own schedule, open the platform on whatever machine is in front of them, and reach a person when something does not look right. Every page on this site exists to serve one of those four.

We are also deliberately conservative about what we claim. Every figure you will read here — the licences below, the client count, the years in operation, the spreads on the fees page — comes from one reviewed config file rather than from a copywriter, and each one carries its source. Where a value is still illustrative it says so on the page.

In short

  • Multi-asset: forex, commodities, indices, shares and crypto CFDs.
  • One funded account, one login, across everything we support.
  • WebTrader in any browser today; a mobile app is on the roadmap.
  • Funding, reporting and support handled in the client area.

Why traders choose Orion Capital

Six things we treat as non-negotiable, because they are the parts of a brokerage a client actually feels.

Execution described honestly

Orders go to our liquidity providers and fill at the best price available when they arrive, which in a fast market is not always the price you last saw. How slippage, partial fills and rejections are handled is set out in the order execution policy, not summarised into a promise here.

A platform with nothing to install

WebTrader runs in the browser, so your account is one login away on any machine you sit down at — no download, no updates to chase. A mobile app and copy trading are on the roadmap and will read the same balance when they land.

Support that reaches a person

Reach the client desk by live chat, by email, or by phone on +44 20 0000 0000. Desk hours: Monday to Friday, 24 hours, from market open on Sunday evening to Friday close. Anything about a specific fill is passed to the dealing desk rather than answered from a script.

Funding without a maze

Deposit and withdraw from the client area using the methods available in your region. Withdrawals return to the original source of funds, which is a fraud control, not an obstacle. Methods and timings are listed on the funding pages.

Education that assumes nothing

Written guides, platform walkthroughs and live sessions that begin with order types and position sizing — not with a signal you are asked to copy. Learn the mechanics first; the opinions are optional.

Security as plumbing

Encrypted sessions, documented identity checks at onboarding and internal controls over who can touch an account. Done properly, this part of the business is invisible and extremely boring.

Where we stand today

Four numbers, and the basis for each one beside it. We would rather define a figure narrowly than quote a bigger one you cannot check.

Regulation & compliance

Who you contract with, and who supervises them

A brokerage is only as good as the rules it has to follow. Below is every entity that holds client accounts, the authority that supervises each one, its licence number and the jurisdiction that licence covers — on the page, not buried in an annex.

  • Orion Capital Ltd

Principal operating entity for international clients.

    Supervised by
    Financial Services Authority (Seychelles)
    Licence number
    SD-000000
    Jurisdiction
    Seychelles
  • Orion Capital (Europe)

Entity serving clients resident in the EEA.

    Supervised by
    Example European competent authority
    Licence number
    EU-000000
    Jurisdiction
    European Economic Area

Orion Capital Ltd is the registered name of the principal operating entity. Which of the 2 entities above holds your account is decided by your country of residence, and it is named in the client agreement you accept during registration — together with its licence, the leverage caps that apply to you and the route open to you if we get something wrong. You know the firm you are dealing with before you deposit, not afterwards.

Your classification is set during onboarding, and it is what changes in practice. Retail accounts get the lower leverage caps, the fuller set of risk disclosures and the protections listed opposite. Professional accounts trade some of that away for higher limits, which is a choice you make explicitly rather than a setting we apply for you.

Leverage caps

Retail clients in the EEA
1:30 on major currency pairs, lower on other asset classes
Retail clients elsewhere
up to 1:400 depending on instrument and account type

Caps vary by regulator, instrument and client classification.

Where the governing documents live

This page describes the relationship; the documents define it. The client agreement, the risk disclosure and the order execution policy — the one that sets out how fills, slippage and rejections are handled — are published in the legal documents section.

Legal documents

How your money is held

  • Client money is held in segregated accounts with regulated banking partners, separately from the firm's own funds.
  • Retail clients are covered by negative balance protection, so you cannot lose more than the balance of your trading account.

The number worth reading first

74% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider.

This is the disclosure that belongs beside any leveraged-product advertising, including ours, because most people who trade these products lose money. Read it before anything else on this page.

Recognition

Industry awards are listed here once they have been received and can be evidenced. The slots below are reserved. We would rather show an empty frame for a few weeks than a badge we cannot stand behind.

  • Category: · Year:

  • Category: · Year:

  • Category: · Year:

When an award does appear on this site, it will name the awarding body, the category and the year beside it, and the entity that received it will be the entity you trade with. An award is a comment on a service, never a statement about the safety of your capital or the returns you should expect.

Your account, in one place

The client area

Everything that is not placing an order happens in the client area. It is the administrative side of your account — separate from the trading platform on purpose, so a password reset never sits between you and an open position.

  • Complete identity verification and upload documents once.
  • Deposit and withdraw using the methods available in your region.
  • Open additional trading accounts without registering again.
  • Collect your WebTrader credentials and open the platform in a browser.
  • Pull statements, trade history and tax-ready reports.
  • Update your details and see every document you have accepted.

Trading itself happens in WebTrader, which runs in the browser with nothing to install, using the credentials the client area issues you. A mobile app and copy trading are on the roadmap; when they arrive they will read the same balance and show the same positions.

Not a client yet? Open an account — or start on a free demo and keep the same login when you fund it.

Who runs the business

A short and accurate leadership page beats an impressive one. Names, photographs and biographies go live once each person has reviewed and approved their own entry — so these four cards carry role labels and nothing invented.

  • Chief Executive Officer

  • Chief Technology Officer

  • Head of Compliance

  • Head of Client Experience

Media and partnership enquiries, and anything you would rather put to a named person, go through our client desk at support@orion-capital.inc or on +44 20 0000 0000. Desk hours: Monday to Friday, 24 hours, from market open on Sunday evening to Friday close.

About Orion Capital — your questions

What does Orion Capital actually do?

We are a multi-asset brokerage. Clients trade forex, commodities, equity indices, individual shares and cryptocurrency CFDs from one funded account, using WebTrader in the browser. Around that account we handle funding, reporting, platform access and support.

Which Orion Capital entity will I be trading with?

The entity that serves your country of residence. It is named in the client agreement you accept during registration, along with its registration details and the authority it answers to, and the same information is published in the legal documents section of this site. You know who you are contracting with before you deposit, not after.

How can I check how Orion Capital is licensed?

Our operating entities are Orion Capital Ltd, supervised by the Financial Services Authority (Seychelles) under licence SD-000000; Orion Capital (Europe), supervised by the Example European competent authority under licence EU-000000. Look the entity named in your client agreement up directly on the public register of that authority and confirm the licence number matches. Never take a licence claim from a marketing page, including this one.

Are client funds held separately from company funds?

Client money is held in segregated accounts with regulated banking partners, separately from the firm's own funds. Retail clients are covered by negative balance protection, so you cannot lose more than the balance of your trading account. Whether a statutory compensation scheme also applies depends on the entity you are onboarded with.

What does it cost to trade with Orion Capital?

Cost has two parts: the spread on every position, an overnight financing adjustment on positions held past the daily rollover, and no commission on any account tier. Classic pricing starts from 2.5 pips with a $/€ 100 minimum deposit; VIP starts from 0.9 pips. The fees and charges page explains spreads, overnight premiums, and the inactivity and administration fees.

Can I try the platform before I deposit?

Yes. A demo account runs WebTrader on simulated funds, so you can place orders, work through order types and position sizing, and learn the interface without risking capital. Demo fills are not exposed to real liquidity, so treat the results as practice rather than proof.

Is the client area the same thing as the trading platform?

No, and the split is deliberate. The client area is where you manage the relationship — verification, funding, additional accounts, statements and documents. The trading platforms, including WebTrader, are where you place orders. You reach the platforms from the client area once your account is funded.

How do I reach a human when something looks wrong?

Start inside the client area, where support can see your account without you quoting details over email. You can also write to support@orion-capital.inc or call +44 20 0000 0000. Desk hours: Monday to Friday, 24 hours, from market open on Sunday evening to Friday close. Anything about a specific fill is escalated to the dealing desk.

Trade with a broker that shows its working

Open an account in minutes, or test the platforms on a free demo first. Either way you keep the same login.

CFDs are leveraged products. They carry a high risk of rapid loss because a small move in the underlying market produces a much larger move in your position. Most people who trade them lose money. Make sure you understand how these products work, and never risk funds you cannot afford to lose.
